*FUNERAL DETAILS UPDATED* It is with profound sadness that the family of Kyle Reimer announces his sudden tragic passing, together with his faithful canine companion Jake, on the early morning of Friday, November 13, 2020 at the age of 26 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Kyle will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his immediate family members including his parents; Jackie Spence (Ross McLeod) and Rod Reimer (Sue Reimer), his siblings and nieces and nephews; Chantal Spence (Danis, Summer, Reco, Bobbi-Jo & Jayden), Theodore Reimer (Leigha Hookimaw), Natisha Reimer (Liam Etherington & nephew on the way), Nakeisha Spence (Nevaeh, Aaliyah, Eli), Katrina Reimer and Christopher Nakogee. Also mourning the loss are his paternal grandparents Dan & Martha Reimer along with many cousins, aunts and uncles. Kyle was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Gabriel & Sophie Spence, his great grandparents Bert & Lottie Solomon, John & Elizabeth Shisheesh, Peter & Gertrude Reimer, Abram & Sara Plett, his Auntie Linda Nakogee, his Uncle Joseph Spence and two cousins Trevor Edwards and Geronimo Spence. Kyle will be cherished for the rest of our days as we comfort each other knowing he was a man of faith and that the Lord welcomed him home with open arms.

A Celebration of Kyle’s life will take place in the Lake Country area just north of Kelowna BC where Kyle had been an active member of the Lake Country Alliance Church. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 1 p.m. until 3:30 pm Pacific Time at the Alternatives Funeral Home (1B - 10058 Highway 97, Lake Country, BC V4V 1P8), followed by a Celebration of life at 4 pm Pacific Time at the Lake Country Alliance Church. Any person wishing to attend the viewing MUST call the funeral home at 250-766-4400 to schedule a time. Those of you who can't attend in person, you may attend virtually.

A scheduled visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 beginning at noon at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home in Timmins, ON., followed by a Funeral Service on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 1 p.m. In the chapel of the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home, only a maximum of 50 people will be allowed to attend and social distancing measures will be required. Everyone is welcome to attend, however any person wishing to attend the visitation MUST call the funeral home at 705-264-4444 between 9 am and 4 pm to schedule a time for the visitation and service. Interment following the service will take place at the Shillington Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Ronald McDonald House or to Spinal Cord Injury Canada would be greatly appreciated.
