Condolences

Condolence From: Shay Bjarnason
Condolence: My deepest condolences to Kyle’s family. I met Kyle earlier this year at the welding shop that we both worked at in Lake Country. He quickly became one of my best friends at the shop and we would hang out pretty regularly after work and on the weekends. He was a really kind and fun person and I wish we could have had more time together but the time we did have I will always cherish. Rest In Peace Kyle.

Condolence: I only knew Kyle for a short period of time, but he struck me as one of the most kind and genuine people I have ever met. Last year, my Subaru had a bad exhaust leak, and as a student here in Kelowna, did not have the funds to pay a workshop for the repair. Kyle did not hesitate to offer his welding experience and take time out of his day to help me fix the problem. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing, and my thoughts are with his family.

Condolence: I was both shocked and saddened to hear about Kyle's passing. I didn't know him well but I always enjoyed talking with him at church when the opportunity presented itself. He was actually one of the first people I had opportunity to talk with and one of the people that made me feel welcome when I first started attending Lake Country Alliance church last year. I will miss seeing his smiling face at church and seeing him in the parking lot with his dog after church. Condolences to the family.

Condolence: My condolences to your family on the loss of your beautiful Kyle. My daughters are of similar age to Kyle, and i cannot imagine losing one of them. I only knew Kyle briefly, from Lake Country Alliance church. He had one of those smiles that welcomed people in, and a desire to help others. Our church community will be dimmer without him. He is now a shining light in Heaven. May the Lord comfort you at this time.

Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear of Kyle's passing. I can't imagine what you are all going through - it's unimaginable. To Rod, Sue and the rest of the family, my deepest sympathies and prayers are for you. He is a great kid and he was someone we all aspired our sons to be. He is with our father in heaven now watching over us. Please take care of yourselves in this time of profound sadness.

Condolence: Kyle was a unique guy. I remember the first time I met him, I had introduced myself at church, and later seen him at the gym on the same day. I remember that exact workout, as he helped me begin trying Bench Press. He patiently waited as I strapped my prosthetic weightlifting arm to the bar, and he helped me adjust and get the movement down. This moment has played through my head every time I sit at the bench, lining my prosthetic up like Kyle showed me, and lifting the bar. His sweet dog Jake showed so much about him as a human, this sweet dog running to my car and trying to literally jump into the window and lick my face will forever be with me, Jake was more than a companion to Kyle I could see this dog was family, his best friend. I will never forget the impact Kyle left on me, every time I sit at the bench, I think of him as I line my arm up and lift the bar, every time i drive down the hill I remember Jake jumping and running after me. Thank you Kyle for the blessing you were, and to the Riemers, though I have never met you, please know that Kyle, in the short time I knew him, inspired me so much and filled me with joy seeing him and Jake. My prayers and thoughts are with you in this time. - Rio Manning
