It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Helen Huet at the Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Leo Huet (2017). Loving mother of Carol (RJ Ingram), Hélène Sabourin (Denis), Paul Huet (Joyce) and Donald Huet (Kathleen). Cherished grandmother of Melissa (Derek Bouchard), Laura Rainville (Kyle Lalonde), Meaghan Quinn (Bryan Jean), Kevin Sabourin (Stephanie Fudge), Josée Sabourin (Branden Ferguson), Tyler Sandvig-Huet, Kelsey Huet, Dacotah Baker-Huet, Curtis Huet, Joseph Huet, Leona Huet, Roger Huet, Maverick Ingram and Devon Ingram. Great grandmother of Blair Bouchard, Nathan Rainville, Madison Rainville, Jake Lalonde, Mallory Courtemanche, Sianna Bouchard and Isaac Jean, Louis Sabourin and Mila Ingram. Dear sister of Rita Wagner (Norm). Also left to mourn; her brother and sisters-in-law Fred Huet (Lucie), Marie Huet-Brazeau, Rosanne Daigle, Bernadette Nolet-Liebelt and her dearest friends Aline Sabourin and Mona Shalton. Helen will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents Alphonse and Lilybelle Chenette, her sisters Alice Lachance (late Rolly), Joyce Chenette and son-in-law Mike Zoschke.

The family takes great pleasure and are at peace knowing that Mom is back in Dad’s loving arms.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at St. Dominique Church (Father Alexis O’Lenga officiating). Helen will be laid to rest with her husband at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow in the St. Dominique Hall for all family and friends. In lieu of flowers and; in following Helen’s wishes, donations will be received to further education funds. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Monday, November 21st at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins.
