I have so many fond memories of Bonnie Spylo involving the Horticultural Society. When I was nominated for President, I explained to Bonnie that I have a black thumb so how can I be President of a Society that encourages gardening and other flower related activities. I remember what she said to me. She said, my dear Denise, you dont have to know anything about flowers to be President, plus Ill be there with you every step of the way as the Retiring President. And you know what, she was. A few years after I moved to Alberta we decided to go back to Timmins so my children could see where I grew up. The first person on my list to visit was the Spylos. Funny story: Now Mr Spylo was my Grade 13 Math teacher and I had such a crush on him. Then one day Bonnie came to visit him and I found out that was his wife and she was pregnant with twins. I was devastated. Any way once I joined the Horticultural Society I got to know her and grew to love her. When my children met the Spylos they immediately fell in love with them, especially Mr Spylo(he kept giving them chocolate milk), and Bonnie kept telling him to stop, theyre going to be sick. I have many more memories and all I want to say is Bonnie I love you so much and I miss you. I miss your whole family. Your family was the most important thing to you. Heaven definitely has an angel.
