The family announces with great sorrow his death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at age 76 years. Beloved spouse of Dianne Snyder. Cherished father of Yvon J. Lapierre (Christina Lapierre) and Dan Lapierre (Caroline Lapierre). He also leaves behind children Rob Todorovich, Jeffrey Knoles, Brigitte Charbonneault and Chantale Hicks. Dear grandfather of Shelby, Thom, Dylan Lapierre, Joel Lapierre and Janelle Lapierre. Yvon will be sadly missed by the mother of his children Shirley Lapierre. Also left to mourn by his godchild Sue McNeely (Mark) and many friends.

Yvon was a great musician and played music for many years in the Timmins and area taverns and music festivals.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date where family and friends can “jam” in his honour. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital would be appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
