The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sylvia Gravel can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

I am so very sorry to learn of your mom's passing. Your mom and Dad were fine and kind people and exemplary community leaders. Timmins is less without them both. Sylvia was a force of nature and could raise funds from a stone - she spearheaded so many important community fundraising projects and generations of citizens will benefit from her continuous generosity and community spirit. She will be greatly missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
