The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Russell Fink can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Bill and Judy Herle
Condolence: Patty and Jocelyn and family, We are so sorry to hear of Russell's passing. Your dad and I had so many laughs and great talks while we were both patients in the hospital in Sudbury. He often spoke of the talks with his furry dog pal Abby and his adventures with the MNR. I enjoyed his company in the next bed so much and talking about making brine. Judy and I will never forget him. I am so grateful for the time I got to spend time with him. Bill & Judy Herle

Condolence From: Bill Moryto
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to you Jocelyn and your family. As neighbours in Gogama for 4 years, You and Rusty really made us feel part of the MNR family since the day I arrived. Just after we moved in, we bought a new fridge, and Rusty was there to help move the old one to the Fire Hall. I then had to explain why it took 5 hours to move the fridge. Those days were good memories I won't forget. Again, my condolences.

Condolence From: Mariette & Roly Rains
Condolence: Sincere condolences to Jocelyn and family. Roly remembers Rusty from his MNR years, as a very calm guy: Rusty was filling up a pick-up truck full of gas cans to support the crews fighting the big Timmins 9 fire. One of the cans had been attacked by a bear, so there was gas spilling everywhere, as fast as it was going in. Even in that situation, Rusty was a very calm guy! May the wonderful memories help you through this difficult time.

Condolence: I also had the privledge of getting to know Rusty through working with him at the MNR. What a pleasure to be around someone with such an easy going nature and attitude. I came to rely on his advice and experience; he taught me how to get things done without a lot of complication and fanfare.I will never forget that smile. My deepest sympathies to his family.
