The family announces with great sorrow his peaceful death on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the age of 79 years. Loving husband of Rachel Brunet (nee Berthiaume). Dear father of Jean Brunet (Anna), Joel Brunet (Julie), Julie Lefebvre (Paul) and Lynn Mills (Dean). Loving grandfather of Allison, Natascha (Josh), Matthieu, Daniel (Ashley), Katrine (Mike), Michael (Sarah) and Ryan (Andrea). Cherished great grandfather of Luka, Emilie, Gabrielle, Jacob, Caleb, William, Laura and Aria. Dear brother of Annette Audet (Norm) and Normand Brunet (Diana). He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Auguste and Alice Brunet, his sisters Jeanne Brunet and Yvonne Dumoulin and his brothers Etienne, Laurent, Raymond, Marcel and Yvon. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Golden Manor for the excellent care that Robert received. Remembrance donations to Alzheimer Society Ontario would be gratefully appreciated. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 12 noon in the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive family and friends on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 10-11:45 am at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
