The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Thursday, June 1st, 2017 at the age of 66 years.
Beloved husband of Diane Barrette (née Martel), loving father of Michel and Marc (Danielle Dallaire) and cherished grandfather of Taiya Barrette all of Timmins. Robert is predeceased by his parents René and Georgette Barrette and his sister Michelle Barrette. "Bob" was an avid golfer and loved spending time outdoors camping & fishing.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2017 from the chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Deacon Michel Néron officiating). A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to Taiya Barrette Education Fund (cheque payable to Marc Barrette) or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
