The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday March 26, 2022 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Florence McFadden (nee Guertin), loving father of Sylvie (Dennis) Couvrette. Dear grandfather of Cassie Duciaume, Cindy Duciaume, Jena Bruneau and Devin Couvrette; and great grandfather of Taryn Bertrand. Predeceased by his parents Emilien and Adèle McFadden; and by his brothers and sisters. Renald who is also known as "Ron the Butcher" loved to be outdoors while fishing and camping and he will be sadly missed by his family and friends. As per his wishes, cremation was held and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Remembrance donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation or the Ontario Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins. C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille annonce son décès à l’Hôpital de Timmins et du District, le samedi 26 mars 2022 à l’âge de 79 ans. Époux bien-aimé de Florence McFadden (née Guertin), et cher père de Sylvie (Dennis) Couvrette. Grand-père adoré de Cassie Duciaume, Cindy Duciaume, Jena Bruneau et Devin Couvrette; ainsi que arrière-grand-père de Taryn Bertrand. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents Emilien et Adèle McFadden; et par ses frères et sœurs. Renald, aussi connu comme "Ron the Butcher" aimait bien être à l'extérieur pour faire de la pêche et du camping; il sera beaucoup manqué par sa famille et ses amis. Selon ses souhaits, l'incinération a eu lieu et une célébration de vie aura lieu à une date ultérieure. Les dons commémoratifs à l'Association pulmonaire de l'Ontario ou a la Fondation du nord en cancérologie seront grandement appréciés.
