The family announces with great sadness her passing surrounded by her family at the Timmins and District Hospital on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the age of 90 years.
Beloved wife of the late Camille Godfroy (1963), loving mother of late Gilles (2010) (late Julie), Suzanne (late Gordon Bruce Parson) of Halifax, Luc (Linda) of Iroquois Falls, Clauviette (Isidore Racette) of Elliot Lake, late Florent (2004) (Joanne) of Timmins, late Jocelyne (2000) (Rick Miller) of Timmins, Sylvianne Hocking of South Porcupine and late Jean-Claude (1965). She is also left to mourn by her 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She is survived by her sisters; Clémence Miron, Gilberte Rainville, Gracia Levac, Rita Gust. Predeceased by her parents Napoleon and Ernestine Desjardins and her brothers Gilbert, Rhéal and Roger Desjardins and her sister Magella Brissette
Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from the Chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Fr. Simon Drapeau officiating). Remembrance donations to Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins.
