It's with great sadness that the family announces Real's passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by his wife Gabrielle (2015) and grandson Guy. Loving father of Gilles Dumas (Meridith), Aline Levesque, Lucie Moffat (Robbie), Donald Dumas, Michel Dumas (Joanne) and Marc Dumas (Marline). Cherished grandfather of Louise Desjardins (Jean-Noel), David (Anne), Ginette (Matt), André (Treya), Gary (Kari), Denny (Sonya), Nathan (Sam), Stéphanie (Stephane), Valerie (Jeff), Sara and Veronique. He also leaves his great grandchildren Olivia, Daxton, Ashley, Alivia, Amilia, Lula, Arlo, Fayth, Seth, Sarah, Emily, Chloe, Gregg (Kelly), Tiffany (Corey), Brock (Alisson), Liam and Weston as well as his treasured great great grandchildren Coby, Trinity, Chase, Michael and Spencer. Left to mourn are his surviving siblings Rosaire Dumas (Lorraine) and Helene Parisi (Nick) and many nieces and nephews as well as many close friends and family. He is also predeceased by his grandson Guy Levesque and his brothers and sisters.


As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. In his memory, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 1:30 - 3 pm from St. Laurent Church in Ramore. (Mask wearing and social distancing will be required along with the maximum number of attendees of 150 people allowed in the Church). The funeral mass will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at St. Laurent Church in Ramore. Interment of Real's ashes will take place in Spring at St. Laurent Cemetery in Ramore. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
