The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband to Barbara (nee Woodward). Loving father of Mary Ellen Richard (Jim), Richard Zudel and Michael Zudel (Diane) all of Timmins. Cherished grandfather of Frances Stefanic (Brett), Jaimee and Corey Zudel and great grandfather of Jack and Kate Stefanic. He leaves his nieces Angela, Laurie, Jane and Anne. He will be sadly missed by his four-legged companion Geordie. Predeceased by his sisters Mary Langdon and Pauline Sayles. The family is very grateful for the excellent care he received at TADH, in particular to Dr. Kanya-Forstner, Dr. Innes and to his nurse Amanda. Special thanks to Dr. Parmar and the wonderful team of nurses at the nephrology clinic for all the care and attention to Paul.

Paul was the owner/operator of Zudel's Ltd for over 60 years. He was a proud member of the Kinsmen Club, Masonic Lodge, Shriners and the Porcupine Dante Club. He enjoyed playing the piano, listening to classical music, and his Wednesday night bocce games at the Porcupine Dante Club. Paul was happiest, however, when he was surrounded by his family.

Remembrance donations to the House of Kin, Ronald McDonald House or Timmins Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. The family invites friends to attend a memorial reception on Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the MIRON-WILSONFUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE
