Left to mourn are his loving wife of 63 years Jeanne (nee Perrier), and his beloved daughters Louise (JP) Rozon and Linda (Denis) Bertrand both of Timmins. Dear grandfather to Patrick (Lena) Bertrand and Julie (Wes) Kyle, both of Timmins. Great grandfather to Peyton and Owen Bertrand, and Kalyssa Kyle. Brother of Bernard (late Jacqueline) of Sudbury, Carmen (late John) Perrier, and Madelaine (Roger) Pellerin both of Timmins. Predeceased by his parents Telesphore and Alma (nee Gougeon) Beaulieu, his brothers Gaston and Raymond, and his sister Caroline Beaulieu. He will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews.
Norm had a longstanding career as an auto mechanic, owning his own service station know as Norm’s Super Shell, for over 40 years. He was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus for over 57 years, being appointed Master of the Third Ontario District from 1979 to 1984. Norm was an avid outdoorsman, owning a property at Star Lake for 40 years. His love of community meant he enjoyed getting involved in everything that interested him. Over the years he was president of the Rod & Gun Club, instructor for the Hunter Safety Courses for youths, a Deputy Conservation Officer, and a member of the Star Lake Volunteer Fire Department.
Special thanks to the Golden Manor staff for their care and kindness to Norm while he was a resident, particularly in the last few months. We will be forever grateful to Dr. Larry Malo for the excellent care he gave Norm over many years, this turning into friendship.
