It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of one of Timmins Pioneers, Mr. Norman Mascioli in the comfort of his home on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the age of 96 years. Beloved husband of Elena "Lena" Mascioli (nee Didone). Loving father of Philip (Patricia), Teresa Ann Ferri (Robert) and James (Rita) all of Timmins. Cherished Nonno of Pamela (Darren) Roy, Michael Ferri, David (Kayli) Mascioli, Kelly Mascioli, Corey (Brittany) Mascioli, Brittany (Anthony) Stennett and Christopher Mascioli (Lauren Beaudry) and Bisnonno of Isabelle, Lauren, Dario, Domi and Penellope. He was the proud son of the late Antonio and late Anna Mascioli. Also predeceased by his brother Dario Mascioli.

Mr. Mascioli was an active business man in the community. His father and uncle passed on to him two family owned businesses; Mascioli Construction and Timmins Garage that are both still very well known to Timmins. He was a proud member of the Rotary, Moneta Rec. and lifetime member of the Porcupine Dante Club. He also gave back to his community by volunteering with the Red Cross, the United way, Meals on Wheels and dedicated countless hours to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation.

In light of the current corona virus pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have made the decision to have a private family visitation and service.
