The family announces with great sorrow her death at the Chateau Georgian on Monday, February 19, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Predeceased by her husband Ferdinando Ragusi in 1996. Loving mother of John Ragusi (Freda) of Cochrane and Anna Salvador (Perry) of Timmins. Cherished “Mama” of Michael, Joe, Amy and PJ. Dear sister-in-law of Linda Taccone of Sudbury. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews especially Lee-Ann, Patrick and Luigi. Predeceased by her parents Luigi and Gina Taccone and her brother Pat Taccone. Maria was born in Celano, Italy and came to Canada in the early 1950’s. She was generous and giving and will be missed for her cooking and crocheting. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Fr. John Lemire officiating). Remembrance donations to the Timmins Food Bank or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the
