The family announces with sorrow her death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the age of 82 years. Loving wife of the late Romeo Potvin (1991). Dear mother of Jocelyne Spence (Jack) of Schumacher, Roger of Geraldton, Robert (June) of Timmins, Dan (Brenda) of Timmins, Denis (Kathy) of Timmins and Gilles (Brigitte) of Timmins. Loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jacques Lavoie of Iroquois Falls, Cecile Peever of South Porcupine and Lucien Lavoie (Paulette) of Ottawa. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Exzona Lavoie, by her sister Claudette Thompson and by her brothers Rene, Georges, Sam, Paul, Roger and Claude Lavoie. Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 15, 2016 from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home chapel. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Medical Unit would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins.
