Obituary for Lorraine Dagenais

Lorraine Dagenais

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother and best friend Lorraine at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by her husband Donald Dagenais (1994). Loving mother of Suzanne, Daniel (Debbie), Marc and Norma (Laurent). Cherished grandmother of Aaron (Norma Nolet), Curtis (Beth Nolet), Kyle and Natasha (Jeff Armstrong) and great grandmother of Nicholas, Payton and Ethan. Dear sister of Claudette (late Rene), Norma (Laurent), Richard (late Marguerite) and Mona. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews and her godchildren Joanne and Linda. Also predeceased by her parents Adolphe and Bertha Boissonneault and her sister Cecile.
Lorraine was a stay at home mom to her 3 loving children. Later in life, she worked part-time at several jobs in Timmins. She also committed herself to countless hours of volunteer work. She will be sadly missed by everyone who loved her. Lorraine will always be our number one sunshine. Mom, please say hello to dad and everyone you meet in heaven for us.
The family would like to thank Yvette Dagenais for her compassion, home visits and keeping in touch with her nephew Marc, to LIN, Marnie Chisholm, Lynne and Emma and Nancy, the program coordinator and many others. To Josée, Lori and Julie from the Golden Manor-day care program and Sue Walton, the program coordinator. To her family physician Dr. Lim and to Lisa Russell who referred Lorraine to Dr. Joanne Clark.

As per her wishes, cremation will take place and a family gathering will take place at a later date. Remembrance donations to Golden Manor - Day Program would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with theMIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE
