The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Golden Manor on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the age of 70 years. Dear sister of Fred and Mario Minardi of Timmins. Predeceased by her parents Sylvio and Verna Minardi as well as her sisters Susan and Telleta Minardi. Linda will be missed by her many friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, her sweetness, the sparkle in her eye, her genuine smile and her song, “Fever” by Peggy Lee, which she loved to sing. One of Linda’s greatest joys was that of giving. She loved to shop for little gifts, and give them as a token of appreciation to the people on her path. Rather than in-memoriam donations, please feel free to offer a kindness or a small token to someone on your path, in Linda’s memory. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Timmins & District Hospital chapel on Wednesday October 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Deacon Michel Néron officiating the service. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
