Linda Clayton-McGillis
It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Linda at home on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the age of 62 years. Linda is predeceased by her father Briton Clayton, brother David and sister Dale. She is survived by her mother Myrtle (Hudson) Clayton, her loving husband Bill and their two sons Ethan and Liam. Dear sister of Darrell, Randall (Tanya), Derrick and Janice (James) Murray. Cherished aunt to Rachel (Alexander) Amirault, Katelyn, Lauren, Meredith Murray, Bronson (Emily) Clayton, Jeremiah (Marina Higgins) Parker-Cleaves, Brandon and Devon Clayton. Linda had a great passion for volunteer work. She was involved with many organizations such as; Special Olympics, the Torch Run, MAAD, the Terry Fox Run, Grand Desserts, Night on the Town in your Gown, Heart and Stroke-Mother /Daughter Run, Half Marathon Medical, Triathlon, NHL Alumni-Old Times Hockey, Face-off for Funds, Run for the Cure, Ladies Slow Pitch and the Neighbourhood Baker.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial reception at the Dante Club Main Hall to celebrate of her life will be held at 7:30 pm on August 3, 2017. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the
