The family announces with heavy hearts his passing after a short battle with cancer at home on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the age of 54 years. Loving partner and spouse of Maria Fregonese and her children Erin (Sam) and Michael (Laura). Dear brother of Kathy Christ and her son Christopher Summers (spouse Richard Shannon), John Charbula "Bro" (Sharon Meehan) and their children Caitlin (Cameron) and Collin (Mary). Survived by his step-father Stuart Charbula and his mother-in-law Claudette Fregonese. Brother-in-law of Laura Lee (Ben) Passmore, Theresa (Ed) Sebalj, Louise (late Gary) McInnis, Denise (Rick) Roy and Bruno (Linda) Fregonese. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and numerous friends especially his family at Krazy Krazy. Predeceased by his parents Louise Charbula and Kurt Christ Sr.
Kurt worked as a sales manager at Krazy Krazy for 28 years. He was an avid skier and enjoyed going to the ski hill.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Chapel (Pastor Brynn Carson). Cremation will follow. Remembrance donations to the Kamiskotia Snow Resort would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins
