The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Monday August 3, 2015 at the age of 59 years. Loving father of Melanie and Logan Major. Dear son of Jacques and Edith Major. Dearest brother of Barbara Major (Kenny Richie). Cherished uncle of Raymond Collette (Lindsey Oullette) and godchild Chantal Collette-Leblanc (André Leblanc). Also survived by the mother of his children Marilyn Major. Jack was an avid collector, he enjoyed reading, fishing, cooking and spending time with his children. Funeral Service will be held at 11: 30 am on Thursday August 6, 2015 from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
