The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Colette (nee Adam), loving father of Gregory (Julie) of Lindsay, ON, and Karin of Timmins, ON, loving grandfather to Anna and Willem, and dear brother of Joseph Hancin (Claire) of Ottawa, ON. He was predeceased by his parents George and Anna Hancin and his brother George Hancin (Bernice) of Gormley, ON. The family wishes to commemorate and remember him in your prayers. As per his request, cremation was held and no visitation will take place. A graveside service will be held in the summer.
