GILBERT, JEAN-GUY (1946-2018) The family announces with sorrow his unexpected death at home on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at age 72 years. Dear father of the late Solange Gilbert (pre-deceased 2017), Suzanne Viel (Yves) of Timmins and Denis Gilbert (Rachelle Labelle) of Connaught. Also survived by his former wife and dear friend Therese Gilbert of Timmins, his grandchildren Natasha, Sophie, Renée, Emilie, Michelle, Tiffany and Joey, his great-granddaughter Ariel and his son-in-law Al Whalen of Newfoundland. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in the Miron-Wilson Funeral Chapel. (Deacon Michel Neron officiating) followed by a reception in the Miron-Wilson reception lounge. Interment Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
