Obituary for Ian Cameron

Ian Cameron
Cameron, Ian (1960-2022)
After many years of courage and determination to live life to the fullest, Ian passed away peacefully on August 13, 2022 at the age of 62 years old.
He is survived and will forever be loved and missed by Jane (Livingston) Cameron, their daughters Jessica (Doug) Corston, Jamie (Guillaume) Cameron, and his dearly loved and cherished grandchildren Hayden and Liam. He also leaves behind his siblings Charlie (Lorrie) Cameron, Sheila (Doug) Randell, Karen (Frank) Ventresca, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, his feline companion O'Riley the cat, and extended family and friends who love him dearly. Ian was predeceased by his mother Millie (Williams) Cameron in 2009, his father Carl Cameron in 2022, and his brother Harold Cameron in 2021.
Ian will be remembered by many for his gratitude for living each day, his dedication to his family and loved ones, as well as his passion for drumming and good music, his interests in aviation, theories and history, his outgoing sense of humour, good conversation and sharing stories, his thoughtful gestures, and his love and acceptance for everyone who came into his life. He always lived by his favourite quote " If you're not having fun, you're not doing it right." Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Extendicare Timmins for their dedication, empathy and compassion in caring for Ian.
Extended thank you to the Cancer Care Team & Stroke Specialists at Health Sciences North, as well as the late Dr. P.J. Pace, Dr. Colleen Davies, the team at Home and Community Care North East, Temiskaming Home Support, Ontario Disability Support, March of Dimes, and every single person who has helped support Ian in so many ways.
As per Ian's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a later date in Temiskaming Shores. Remembrance donations to the Temiskaming Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
