McARTHUR, HELEN

1934-2018

The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Helen at the Hospice centre at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by her husband Murray McArthur. Loving mother of Christina (John) Allerston, David (Sue) McArthur, Late Sandra (Danny) Pasi, Carol McArthur (Bob Dixon) and Sharon McArthur (Joe Cabral). Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Helen was a teacher and librarianwith Timmins Board of Education for many years. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Extendicare, Medical B staff at TADH and Dr. Patel for excellent care and compassion

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from the Chapel of the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Rev. Dale Young officiating). Interment of her ashes will take place at a later date. A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until 10:45am on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE
