Obituary for Germaine Racicot
La famille regrette d’annoncer le décès de Maria Germaine Racicot le mardi, 6 octobre 2015 à l’hôpital du District de Timmins. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Gilles, ses enfants, Dominique, Danys et Pierre-Gilles (feu José Sigouin) ainsi que ses petits enfants Alexya et Pierre. Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents Louis-Calixte Gaulin et Olivine Beaudoin, ainsi que ses frères, Ovila, Moïse, Edgar, Raoul, Robert et sa soeur Annette. Elle était une excellente paysagiste et une couturière de profession.
La messe funéraire aura lieu en église St-Joseph samedi, le 10 octobre à 12h00. Les dons à la Fondation des maladies du coeur et de l’AVC ou à la société d'horticulture de Timmins seraient grandement appréciés.
La famille accueillera parents et amis le vendredi 9 octobre 2015 de 14h00 à 16h00 et de 19h00 à 21h00 au

The family announces with great sorrow her passing at Timmins & District Hospital on Tuesday, October 6 2015.Beloved wife of Gilles Racicot. Loving mother of Dominique Racicot of Ottawa, Danys Racicot and Pierre-Gilles Racicot (late José Sigouin) both of Timmins. Cherished grandmother of Alexya and Pierre. Predeceased by her parents Louis-Calixte Gaulin and Olivine Beaudoin, and her siblings Ovila, Robert, Moise, Edgar, Raoul and Annette, as well as many nephews and nieces.
Germaine was an avid admirer of nature, a landscaping aficionado as well as a skilled seamstress.
Funeral mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from St-Joseph Church. Cremation will follow. Remembrance donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Timmins Horticultural Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins
