Rainville, Gerald (1937-2016)
The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Bingham Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the age of 79 years.
Beloved husband of late Stella Rainville (nee St-Jean)(1992) and Gilberte Rainville (nee Desjardins). Loving father of Viviane (Randy) Hamilton of Timmins, Jacqueline Fleury (Norm) of Timmins, Remi (Lyse) Rainville of Chelmsford, Denise Landry (late Gary) of Sudbury, and step-father of Madeleine (Gil) Dessureault of North Bay, Denise Rainville Chelmsford, Lise Rainville (Michel) of Brampton, Paulette (John) Daigle of Dowling and Marcelle Daveikis (Gilles) of Chelmsford. He is survived by his 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren. Also left to mourn are his brother Laurent (Georgette) of Ramore and his sister Aline (late Jack) Magnan of Val-Gagné. He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Marie-Anna Rainville, his brother Lionel and his sister Jeannine Leblanc.
Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from the Chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Fr. Simon Drapeau officiating). A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to the Bingham Memorial Hospital - New Palliative Care Room would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
