The family announces with sorrow her death at Extendicare Timmins on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the age of 91 years. Loving wife of the late Romeo Lortie. Dear mother of Diane Morellato and Suzanne Mageau (Marcel) both of Timmins. Loving grandmother of Cary (Sandra), Dean (Marys), Derek (Lise), Lynne (Steph), Patricia, Jessica, Daniel (Jenny Lou), Justin (Kelly), Bradley and Carole (Mike) and great grandmother of 20 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her Son Gilles Lortie, her daughter Jeannine Lortie, her grandson David, her brothers Rudolphe, Edward and Leo and by her sisters Jacqueline and Gloria. The family wish to thank the staff of Extendicare in particular the nursing staff, RPN’s, PSW’s and to Dr. DiTullio and Dr. Vaithilingam for their compassion, love and care given to our mother during her journey. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm from St-Dominique Church. Interment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Timmins-Porcupine District would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 11:30-1:30 pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
