Obituary for Emilia Archambeault (Ornella)

Emilia Archambeault (Ornella)
It is with great sadness that the family announces her peaceful passing with her family by her side at the age of 73 years. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Emilia was born in Coniston to Luigi and Ida Ornella. She was the eldest of 5 children. The family moved to Britt when she was a young child. She went to Britt Public School and Parry Sound High School. She graduated from Parry Sound General Hospital in 1966 where she started her career as a Registered Nursing Assistant.
Emilia married the love of her life Reginald in 1968 and moved to Chapleau in 1970. She spent most of her life working at the Chapleau General Hospital. Upon retirement, she moved to Timmins to be closer to family.

Left to mourn are her children Peter (Melissa) and Regina (Peter). Her grandchildren Timothy, Brandon, Kaylie and Tyler as well as her Zoo (Harlow, Buddy and Bozzy). She will be missed by her brothers Luigi (Carol), Michael (Loretta), Gary (Bev), and her sister Angela (Dan), her godchild Roddy (Carole), her nieces and nephews Julianna (Mick), Barry (Lynne), Nicole (Grant), Neil (Brittney), Natalie (Jon), Shannon (Bryan) and Kris (Susie).

A special thank you to our neighbors Leo Paul and Nicole Baye for always being there for our mom when we could not; to Linda St. Denis for always taking the time to visit mom and making her feel special; to the entire staff of the Georgian Residence, for making our mother’s stay very enjoyable for the short time that she was there. And to Britney in the ICU at the Timmins and District Hospital for being an amazing caregiver to mom during her final hours.

In following Emilia’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will take place at 11 am on August 24th in Britt, ON. Her ashes will be laid to rest beside her husband Reginald and her daughter Nikki. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the
