Obituary for Emile Grondin
The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the age of 75 years.
Beloved husband of 56 years to Diane Grondin (nee Courville). Cherished father of Camille (Charmaine) Grondin, Omer (Denise) Grondin and Daniel Grondin. Dear grandfather of Natasha, Joanne, Marguerite, Beau, Steve, Roxanne, Tamara and Tashia. Brother of Henry, Arcade (Cindy) and Maurice. Emile also leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents Paul-Emile and Noëlla Grondin, his son Yvon Grondin (2018), his sisters Madelaine, Alice, Aline, and Claudette and his brother Eloi and Raymond and his grandson Paul.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Doctors and nursing staff at the TDH for the care and compassion received especially the staff from the surgical department. The family would also like to thank Father Alexis O’Lenga.
Funeral mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Church (Father Alexis O'Lenga officiating). Interment will take place at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to Project Love or the Yo-Mobile would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Monday, January 20, 2020 at the
