McChesney, Elizabeth (nee Poirier)
1949-2017
The family announces with great sorrow her sudden passing at home on February 8, 2017 at the age of 67 years. Beloved spouse of 31 years to Neil St. Denis, loving mother of John of Ottawa and Allen of Timmins and dear grandmother of Kevin, Kaytlin and Cassandra. Cherished daughter of Viola and late Rolland Poirier Sr. (2008). Survived by her siblings: Barbara (Reg) Tremblay of Montreal, Rolland Jr. (Sandra) Poirier of Timmins, Patricia Poirier of Timmins and Raymond Poirier (Gary) of Toronto. Also left to mourn are her many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth loved to cook and organize family gathering and host many events to spend time with family and friends, she will be sadly missed. As per her request, cremation was held and a private family service will be held. Remembrance donations to the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
