The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the age of 65 years. Beloved husband of 44 years to Vivianne Chernoff. Cherished father of Nicholas Chernoff and Jenn Larocque (Paul). Dear Brother of John Chernoff (Sue) and Bill Chernoff (Jessie). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Jennie Chernoff.

Ed was a lifelong miner and worked in mines all around the world. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. When he wasn’t tending to his yard, he enjoyed his music and a good book.

As per his request, cremation was held and no visitation or service will take place. Remembrance donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the
