It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Doris at the Timmins and District Hospital - Hospice on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the age of 63 years. Beloved wife of Eugene Lacroix and loving mother of Rachelle Lacroix (Jerry Allaire), André Lacroix (Angèle) and Jean Lacroix, Cherished mémère of Brittany (Taylor), Breanna, Brayden, Leland, Émilie and Drake. Left to mourn by her siblings Georgette (late Claude) Aubin, Shirley (Rhéal) Gauthier, Yvon (Jo-Anne) Vieno, Lucie Vieno, Adèle Vieno, Carole (Denis) Lacelle, Gilbert (Diane) Vieno and Lisa Nikina. She leaves her brothers and sisters-in-law; late Gérard (Suzanne) Lacroix, Léo (Gaëtane) Lacroix, Jeanne (late Larry) Brownrigg, Late Paulette (Marcel) Lauzon, Lise (Gilbert) Desgagné, Louise Lacroix, Cecile Lacroix, Diane (Butch) Jacques, Lionel (Nicole) Lacroix, Guy (Lorraine) Lacroix, Gilles (Colette) Lacroix, Rosanne Robitaille and Normand (Nancy) Lacroix. She will be missed by her nieces and nephew especially by her godchild Paul Lauzon and his family whom was like a son to her. Also missing her are her fur babies; Peanut, Callie and Milo. Predeceased by her parents George and Anita Vieno, her brother Romeo Mongrain, her sisters Suzzanne Mongrain, Rachelle Vieno and her brother-in-law André Lacroix. The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Timmins and District Hospital especially at the Hospice, the Transplant Team at Toronto General and to the Chevalier de Colomb - Conseil 6808 for their service and support during this difficult time.

Due to the current restrictions, the family has decided to have a memorial celebration at a later date. Remembrance donation in Doris's honor to the Lung Association or to the Trillium Gift of Life Network would be appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins
