The family announces with sorrow her death at the Golden Manor on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by her spouses René Trudel in 1978 and Lionel Mondoux in 1988. Loving mother of the late Therese Miller (John), René Taillefer (Jacqueline), Laurette Miller (late Bill), Rollande Loftus (Brian), Roland Trudel, Denise Blanchard (Gary), Rachelle Therrien (late Leo), Liliane Fortin (Raymond), Michelle Dominick (Doug), Andre Trudel and Paul Trudel. Cherished grandmother of 31 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Alexandre and Emma Turcotte, her sisters Blanche Snyder, Desneiges Donovan and Maria Turcotte and by her brothers Eugene, Rene and Arthur Turcotte. Dora was a member of Les aînés du Mirage, Les aînés de Laronde, the Timmins Seniors Centre and she volunteered at the Chateau Georgian. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 from Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Church. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
