Obituary for Daisy Louise Mark (Sutherland)

The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the age of 71 years. Beloved wife of Garfield Mark. Loving mother of Sylvia (Pat), Jason (Nikki), Kyson and Alicia. Cherished grandmother of Grace, Clifford and Ava. Sister Dorothy (George L), Bernice, Stanley Sr. (Elizabeth). Predeceased by her siblings Thomas, Cecile (George R), Dwight Sr. (Rollande), Peter Sr. (Ethel) and Ronald. Also predeceased by her parents Peter Sutherland and Emma Margaret (nee Carey). Daisy was known and admired for her strong Christian Faith. She was the first one to accept the Lord in her family and because of that, her husband and children serve the Lord.

Funeral will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from the Timmins Pentecostal Church (Pastor Bobby Linklater officiating). Remembrance donations to the Timmins Crossroad Church would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm and family service from 6:30 - 9 pm on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins
