The family announces with sorrow her peaceful death in her 95th year on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Timmins Extendicare surrounded by numerous family members, friends and caregivers. Cesira was born in San Zenone Degli Ezzelini Italy in 1923. She immigrated to Canada in 1933 and spent the reminder of her life as a resident of Timmins. She was predeceased by her husband Adolfo, sisters Marcella (Aurelio) Farronato, Maria (Guido) Moretti, brother Angelo, parents Tony and Giudita Pasqual, brother-in-law Alberto (Sylvia) Bertotti and sister-in-law Ersilia (Querio) of Italy. She is survived by her cherished son Mario, nieces Tesca (late Bepi) Alberton, Jean (Tony) Tartaglia of Courtice, Joyce Auger of Oakville, Linda Belisle (Keith) of White River, Rita (late Joe) St. Jean and nephews Rino (Rose) Moretti of Sioux Lookout, Gino Moretti (Helena) and Silvio (Anna) Querio of Italy. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Ines as well as numerous grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. Cesira was a lifelong and active member of the Sacred Heart Parish and the Dante Club. She enjoyed being at home with her family and friends. Cooking, gardening, knitting and her pets were her passions. Special thanks to Bruna & Eric Hamilton, Lia & Bruce Holmes, Chris & Christine Law, Colleen Landers, Margery Markle, Leila Diberardino, Dora Del Bel, Anna Emms, Rita St. Jean, Kim Letang, Mary Gazzola, Louis Seguin, Elsie Didone and Tina D’Arcangelo, all of whom helped make Cesira’s later years joyous. A very special thanks to Doctors DiTullio, Vaithilingam, and Paul & Karen Armstrong for their diligent care, the staff at Extendicare especially those at Pearl Lake Pod. They treated Cesira as their own family and made her time there enjoyable. Thanks to the staff at Miron-Wilson for helping make things easier during this difficult time. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00am in the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (Fr. John Lemire officiating). A reception will follow in the funeral home reception centre. Remembrance donations to Sports for Kids Timmins would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME,
