Obituary for Carol Lafrance (Jacombe)

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Carol in the comfort of her home with her daughter by her side on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Survived by her loving daughter Yvonne Wood of Sundridge and daughter-in-law Judy Wood (late Carl) of Thunder Bay. She is also survived by her step-children Guy Lafrance (Cathy), Carol Sweezy, Albert Lafrance, Bobby Lafrance, Sue Larose, John (Betty-Ann) Dubroy, Lyle (Loretta) Dubroy, late Lola Pelletier, Gary (Diane) Dubroy, Gale (Jeremy) Pacard and Debbie (Jim) Gibb. Cherished grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dear step-sister Linda of Mackenzie, BC.Predeceased by her 1st husband Robert Wood (1969), her 2nd husband Albert Lafrance (1995) and her common-law spouse Fred Dubroy (2000), her son Dale Wood (1982) and her parents Carl and Iris Jacombe.
As per Carol's wishes, cremation has taken place, no visitation or service will take place. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins
