SECORD, Brent (2001-2019)
It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Brent Daniel Secord after a tragic hunting accident in Rainy River, Ontario on Sunday, November 24th, 2019 at age 18 years. Dearest son of Karen Hermant (Trevor Dunbabin) of Schumacher and Guy Secord
(Kara) of Timmins. Loving brother of Marissa Vien (Tyler) of Chelmsford, Kyle Lawrence of Sudbury and Havens Secord (Timmins). Loving grandson of Eda and Roger Hermant (Nanaimo, B.C.), Françoise and Reginald Secord (Timmins) and Linda and Rick Chenier (Timmins). He is also survived by his Godfather Dan Secord (Jessica) of Timmins as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his “brothers from another mother” Dimitri Brown and Austin Vandal as well as his large circle of friends. Pre-deceased by his great-grandmothers Lucy Roy (2015) and Angela Facca (2001). Brent was born in Timmins on October 27, 2001 and was currently in his final year at O’Gorman High School. He had an immense love for the outdoors with a real passion for snowmobiling, four-wheeling and snow cross racing.
