Obituary for Bertha Metat (Wheesk)

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bertha announces her passing at home on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the age of 68 years. Beloved spouse of John Hookimaw. Loving mother of Yvonne Metatawabin, Stanley Cheechuk (Mary Lou Tookata), Evatney Metatawabin (Clifford Ferris), Late Ernest Metatawabin (Jessie), Maggie Metatawabon (Neil Morrisseau) and step-mother of Stephen Hookimaw, Jeffery Hookimaw and Angel Hookimaw. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Late Margaret Sassaville (late Lawrence), John Wheesk (Annie), Late Bernadette Sutherland (late Xavier), late William Wheesk and Anastasia Wheesk. She leaves many nieces and nephews.
Also left to mourn is the Hookimaw family. Predeceased by her parents Raphael and Laura Wheesk.

Funeral service will be held at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Chapel (Msgr. Pat Lafleur officiating). Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 3:15 pm on Tuesday, September 18th at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE
