The family announces with sorrow his peaceful death at the Golden Manor on Monday, May 18, 2015 at age 92 years. Predeceased by his wife Margaret in 2008. Dear father of Anthony "Tony" (Cathy) of Timmins and Nona Lee Patitucci (Luigi) of St. Catharine. Loving grandfather of Matthew and Sarah Senyuk, Paolo Patitucci, Elisa Chiappetta (Dino), Linda Toner (Mark) and Dino Patitucci (Helena) and great-grandfather of Louis, Elisa, Sara, Julia, Giuseppe, Paolo, Domenico and Alexis. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews from the Niagara Falls area. Predeceased by his sister Annie, Julia and brothers John and Michael. Anthony was born in Creighton Mines, ON. and had been a resident of Timmins most of his life. As a young man, he played semi-pro hockey in North America and Europe in the 1940's and 50's. He later coached hockey in both Austria and with Timmins Minor Hockey for many years. He had been employed with Public Works at the City of Timmins for 25 years until his retirement in 1991. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 22, 2015 in the Miron-Wilson Funeral Chapel (Deacon Jake Gregorcic officiating). A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson reception lounge. Remembrance donations to Timmins Kidsport would be appreciated. The family will received friends on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE.
