The family announces with great sorrow his passing on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the age of 77 years. Loving father of Roger Lapierre of Timmins and Keith Lapierre of Etobicoke. Cherished grandfather of Thalia and Etienne. He is survived by the mother of his children Marie Mosher-Lapierre. Dear brother of Marcel (Louise) Lapierre, Claudette Lapierre and late Gaston Lapierre. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews; Sabrina, Sandra, Martine, Christine, Alain and Mario. Predeceased by his parents Etienne and Marie-Ange Lapierre and his niece Pascale. André was an avid outdoors man. One of his passions was moose hunting. He really enjoyed hockey as well.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm, on Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Chapel (Deacon Michel Néron officiating). Interment of his ashes will take place in Val D'Or Quebec at a later date. Remembrance donations to Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
