The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Friday, July 31, 2015 at the age of 84 years. Loving husband of Juliette Bouvier (nee Brazeau). Dear father of Daniel (Lucie) of Timmins, Rhéal (Camille) of Ottawa, Paul of Gatineau, Qc and Marc (Léonie) of Pontiac, Qc. Cherished grandfather of Valérie (Mitchell) Reid, Roxanne (Fiancé Victor Tatenkov), Alain (Vanessa), Christine and Annik (Dave) Grenier. Predeceased by his parents Eugène & Célina Bouvier, his sisters, Jeanne Chabot, Lucienne Pawson, Lorette Konopelky, Fleurette Gauthier, Armande Ménard, Irène Brunette and Béatrice Lajeunesse and his brothers Lionel, René and Henri. Bert’s pride and joy was his family. He loved camping, travelling in his RV and enjoyed spending time in his garage tinkering on small projects. The family would like to thank the staff at the Wallford Residence for their care and compassion.
Funeral mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from St. Joseph Church. Interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to Diabetes Association or the Timmins & District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the
