(1960-2018)
The family announces with sorrow his death on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 57 years. Loving husband of Sylvie Racicot (nee Moreau). Dear father of Michel and Eric (Dilan) both of Timmins. Cherished “Handy Manny” of Jaxon, Kaylee and Zayde. Dear son of Germaine Racicot and brother of Renée Racicot and Daniel Racicot (Amanda) all of Ottawa. Alain will be missed by his parents-in-law Raymond and Noella Moreau of Timmins. He also leaves behind his nieces, nephews and his family on the Moreau side. Predeceased by his father Eloi Racicot. Alain was a man with a big heart who loved helping his friends and family. He was a loyal and patient husband, father and grandfather who lived for his family. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (Deacon Michel Neron officiating). A reception will follow in the funeral home reception centre. Remembrance donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
