Yvonne Dumoulin (Brunet)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Extendicare Timmins on July 29, 2022 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Dumoulin. Cherished mother of Yvon Joanisse, Daniel Joanisse (Arlene), Michel Joanisse (Gwen), Lise Dicaire (Dan MacFarlane) and Andre Joanisse (Robin) and also Armand “Bucko” Savard (Claudette). Proud grandmother of Ken (Tammy), Julie (Mike), Laura (Trevor), Daniel, Kyle, Alexandra, Hailey, Chantal (Mike), Patrick, Angele (Blaine) and Alain. She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Annette Audet (Norm), Robert Brunet (Rachel) and Normand Brunet (Diana). Yvonne will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Yvonne is predeceased by her first husband Kenneth Joanisse (1992), her daughters Suzanne Savard and Claudette Lauzon, her grandchildren Yves Joanisse and Carson Pratt, her parents Auguste and Alice Brunet and her brothers and sisters.

Special thank you to Nicole Danis-McMahon for the support she’s given the family over the years, CCAC for the wonderful homecare they provided and Extendicare Timmins for the care and compassion Mom received during her stay.

Yvonne was the hard working manager, of 35 years, at the A&W Restaurant on Pine Street in Timmins. She loved being surrounded by her family, especially when the guitars came out and everyone sang together. Anyone who knew Yvonne knew she loved her sweets too! She will be missed by many, but never forgotten.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 12 noon from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home chapel (Fr. Simon Drapeau officiating). A lunch reception will follow. Remembrance donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 10am to 11:45am at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
