The family announces with sorrow her death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Friday, January 29, 2021 at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Lehoux. Loving mother of Jean-Pierre Lehoux (Joanne), Helene Minthorn (George), Nicole Snyder (Terry) and Richard Lehoux. Cherished grandmother of Corey (Marie-France), Andrew (Angela), Judith (Philippe), Michelle (Sebastien) and Matthew (Erica) and great grandmother of Ellie, Hayley, Juliette, Navy and Juni. Dear sister of Marcel Trottier, Madeleine Bouchard and Rita DesRoberts. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Marie-Paule Naud as well as her many nieces and nephews especially her niece Danielle Trottier. Predeceased by her daughter Suzanne Lehoux, her brothers Jean-Marie and Gilles, her sisters Marie-Paule and Réjeanne and her brothers and sisters-in-law Fernande, Jeannine, Léandre, Doris, Murielle and Flore. Yolande worked at Kidd Creek for many years in the Warehouse. She was very active in her community being a member of the German Culture Club, volunteering at the hospital, she enjoyed dancing, singing with the Chorale des aînés, knitting and the outdoors. She was a very proud lady, always well-dressed no matter the occasion. Her greatest joy was her family who she loved dearly and her cat Misty. The family wishes to thank Dr. Thomas and the nursing staff at Timmins and District Hospital as well as her family doctor, Dr. Houston for their care and compassion. In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have decided to have a celebration of life at a later date. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Timmins and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. C'est avec tristesse que la famille annonce le décès de Yolande à l'Hôpital de Timmins et du district le vendredi 29 janvier 2021 à l'âge de 91 ans. Épouse bien-aimée de feu Ronald Lehoux. Chère mère de Jean-Pierre Lehoux (Joanne), Hélène Minthorn (George), Nicole Snyder (Terry) et Richard Lehoux. Grand-mère adorée Corey (Marie-France), Andrew (Angela), Judith (Philippe), Michelle (Sébastien) et Matthew (Erica) et arrière-grand-mère de Ellie, Hayley, Juliette, Navy et Juni. Chère sœur de Marcel Trottier, Madeleine Bouchard et Rita DesRoberts. Elle sera manquée par sa belle-sœur Marie-Paule Naud ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux spécialement sa nièce Danielle Trottier. Prédécédée par sa fille Suzanne Lehoux, ses frères Jean-Marie, et Gilles, ses sœurs Marie-Paule et Réjeanne et ses belles-sœurs et beaux-frères Fernande, Jeannine, Léandre, Doris, Murielle et Flore. Yolande travaillait dans l’entrepôt à la mine Kidd Creek pendant plusieurs années. Elle était très active dans sa communauté étant membre du Club culturel d’Allemagne, faisant du bénévolat à l’hôpital, elle adorait la danse, chantée avec la chorale des aînés, le tricot ou faire le camping. C’était une femme très fière, toujours bien habillées pour toutes les occasions. Sa plus grande joie était sa famille et son chat Misty. La famille aimerait remercier le Dr. Thomas et l’équipe de l’hôpital de Timmins et du district ainsi que son docteur de famille, Dr. Houston pour leurs soins et compassions. À cause de la pandémie, une célébration de sa vie aura lieu à une date ultérieure. En sa mémoire, des dons commémoratifs peuvent être faits à la fondation des maladies du cœur du Canada ou au Timmins and District Humane Society.
