1946-2020
The family announces with great sorrow his passing on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of the late Blanche Green (nee Pilgrim). Dear father of Brian Green (Tammy), Brent Green (Joanne), Lisa Green, Lori Clifford (Sean) and Brandon Green (Suzan). Loving grandfather of Jesse (Shontel), Bret (Rebecca), Zachary (Samantha), Christopher, Stephanie, Andrew, Gabrielle, Jonathan, Cameron, Mackenzie, Benjamin, Ashley (Brandon), Kyle, Tyler, Korey and Madison. Great grandfather of Sarah, Sierra, Cole, Lucas, Payton, Blake, Brody, Travis, Nolan, Iris and Avery. Wilbert is survived by his siblings Gerald, Phyllis (Don), Carol (Fred) and Terry (Mary). Predeceased by his parents Hayward and Jemima Green and his brothers Alton, Keith (Catherine), Joe and Bob (Madge) Green.
Bill was very thoughtful and generous to his family and friends. Known to most as "Sweet Bill". Bill enjoyed fishing, hockey, darts and cards. He loved walking and family gatherings and carrying on with the grandkids.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at Lori and Sean's at 1360 Jaguar in Timmins on Tuesday September 1st at 5pm. Remembrance donations to Parkinson Canada would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the
