It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Wendy at the Timmins and District Hospital - Hospice on Monday, June 29, 2020 at the age of 60 years. Beloved wife of Danny St. Pierre and loving mother of Jonathan (Maryline) St. Pierre and Natalie (Riley) Venne both of Timmins. Cherished grandmother of Kassandra, Brielle, Janelle and Arielle St. Pierre and Ava, Ethan and Jasper Venne. Wendy leaves to mourn her mother Angel Fisher (nee Andrews). Dear sister of Steven (Della) Fisher of Timmins, Mark (Sandra) Fisher of South Porcupine and Cindy (Rick) Gutcher of Timmins as well as her sister-in-law Diane (Hoss) Szewczyk of North Bay and her brother-in-law Gilles (Brigitte) St. Pierre of Timmins. Predeceased by her father Douglas Fisher and her in-laws Gilles Sr. and Patricia St. Pierre. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Wendy worked at the MTO for 21 years. She dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed every minute with her grandchildren. She loved the outdoors and fishing. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Nicholas Kanya-Forstner and to all the doctors, nurses and staff at TADH who has touched Wendy's life during her challenging illness.
In light of the current corona virus pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have made the decision to have a private visitation. Interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery will take place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the TADH Foundation or Timmins and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Burial at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE
