He is predeceased by his parents; Chess Pye (1979) and Claire Pye (1964).
He is survived by his sister, Anne Davidson (George 2020) and his half-sister, Beulah Martel. He is also predeceased by his second wife Joan (2016).

He is survived by his three step-children, Ian Williams (Samantha), Aaron Williams (Desa), Elaine Williams (Ken) and grandchildren Julian, D.J., Lailen, Justin, Sophia, Lilly, Damien, Elijah, Dante and Darcy.

He is also survived by his first wife, Elaine Pye and their two children, Laurie Pye (Jennie) and Ken Pye (Cindy), as well as grandchildren, Jonathan Pye and Jennifer Pye (Quinlan).

"Bill" was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and curler. He spent countless hours on local lakes reeling in the “big ones”. His two favourite lakes were Pharand and Horwood, with the latter serving as their retirement retreat. Other than cottage life, you would find Bill and Joan at the Hollinger Golf Club.

Dad will be missed by all his family and extended family as well as all his lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated. Due to the current pandemic, a private celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date.
