It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Verna Yacula at the age of 86. She passed away peacefully on Monday, March 6, 2023 at the Golden Manor. She is predeceased by her loving husband Fred (December 2018) and her precious daughter Gail (February 1998). She was the loving mother to Duff (Nancy) and the most wonderful grandmother to Lauren, Ellie, and Kailan. She enjoyed teaching for over 30 years, loved singing in the choir, and loved participating in her book club during her retirement in Meaford. A special thank you to all the staff at the Golden Manor who cared for her. As per Verna's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held this summer. Remembrance donations in memory of Verna can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
